SUBJECT: TETON WATER & SEWER COMPANY, LLC, AUTHORITY TO
ACCESS RESERVE FUND TO PAY FOR VALVE REPAIRS;

On October 10, 2017, Teton Water & Sewer Company submitted a one-page letter
rcquesting the Commission approve access to a reserve fund to pay for two valve repairs{luff
Lane, $3,328.12, and Teton Springs Lodge, $5,351.22.|n January 2009, the reserve fund was
created by Commission Order for emergencies. The Commission stated, "[tJhe reserve fund is to
be used only for emergencies and major unplanned capital expenditures (plant repair,
maintenance and replacement)." Order No. 30718.
No timeline for review of the project was submitted. The Company included detailed
invoices with its Application, and requested that this matter be processed by Modified Procedure.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission issue a Notice of Application, and that the
processing of this matter by Modified Procedure is appropriate. Stafffurther recommends setting
a comment deadline of January 9, 2018, and a reply deadline of January 23,2018.
COMMISSION DECISION
Does the Commission wish to issue a Notice of Application, and adopt a case
schedule as described above?
