On October 13,2017,Teton Water &Sewer Company filed an Application
requesting that the Commission authorize the Company to build an additional well and recover
expenses related to the project.The Company did not request a timeline for the processing of the
project,but did request that this matter be processed through Modified Procedure.
With this Order,the Commission provides notice of the Company's Application,and
sets a deadline for interested persons to intervene as parties in the case.
NOTICE OF APPLICATION
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Teton Water &Sewer Company is a regulated
water utility serving customers near Driggs,Idaho.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that,according to the Company,it is currently
allotted 500 gallons of groundwater per minute (GPM)by the Idaho Department of Water
resources.It uses two wells to serve its customers.Well No.1 produces approximately 340
GPM,and Well No.2 produces about 60 GPM.The Company claims,however,that Well No.2
produces too little water to fulfill redundancy requirements.See Application at 1.Accordingly,
the Company has asked the Commission for authorityto build an additional well,and to allow
the Company to ultimatelyrecover those expenses from customers through rates.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Company requests that this Application
be processed by Modified Procedure (that is,with written submissions rather than a live hearing,
per Commission Rules 201 -210,IDAPA 31.01.01.201 -210).
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Application and supporting documents
have been filed with the Commission and are available for public inspection during regular
business hours at the Commission offices.The Application and testimonies are also available on

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this case will be held
pursuant to the Commission's jurisdiction under Title 61 of the Idaho Code,including Idaho
Code §§61-501,-502,-508 and -524.The Commission may enter any final order consistent
with its authority under Title 61.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this matter will be
conducted pursuant to the Commission's Rules of Procedure,IDAPA 31.01.01 .000 et seq.
NOTICE OF INTERVENTION DEADLINE
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that persons desiring to intervene in this matter
for the purpose of presenting evidence or cross-examining witnesses at hearing must file a
Petition to Intervene with the Commission pursuant to this Commission's Rules of Procedure 72
and 73,IDAPA 31.01.01.072 and -.073.Persons intending to participate at the hearing must file
a Petition to Intervene no later than 21 days from the service date of this Order.Persons
desiring to present their views without parties'rights of participation and cross-examination are
not required to intervene and may present their comments without prior notification to the
Commission or the parties.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission Secretary shall issue a
Notice of Parties after the deadline for intervention has passed.The Notice of Parties shall
assign exhibit numbers to each party in this proceeding.Once the Notice of Parties is issued,the
Commission's Staff will informally confer with the parties to discuss a case schedule and other
issues as may be raised by the parties.Staff shall report back to the Commission with a proposed
schedule.

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that persons desiring to intervene as a party in this matter
