To update the Commission, we have decided to change the site location after seeking input from another hydrologist at the recommendation of the well driller. As such, DEQ will be on-site today for review of the new site plan, we don’t anticipate any issues. Also, we have sent an update to IDWR for the new site location as it in a different “quarter” and are completing revised paperwork for their approval. I should say, “2 new site plans”. The hydrologist suggested that we may not see the kind of water production from one well that we are seeking and that it may be prudent to identify multiple sites, and then possibly drill a test well on one or both. In theory, we may need to be happy with 2 wells each producing 250 gpm instead of 1 well producing 500 gpm. Therefore, we have identified 2 sites for approval by both DEQ and IDWR. Building plans for the control building were being developed and on schedule until last week….with the virus, the architect office has been closed for a period. This shouldn’t slow things down, however, as the county building department is essentially closed for now and we are still weeks away from needing a building permit. Strange times that we are in. Both Buchanan for motors/pumps and Vollmer for the well are on-board and we have been added to their spring schedule, but timing is unknown. Also, the excavation company has us in que. It appears we may be able use a private loan, non-bank, at least for a portion of the total cost that may be interest only to start. More to come on that as we finalize details. Thank you, we will continue to provide updates as we move forward with the project. Jon Pinardi Teton Water & Sewer Company Cell 208-201-4798
