Since I am a resident of Teton Springs who is currently suffering from heavy metal toxicity,
I am kindly requesting some information on who is accountable for water quality within the
subdivision. The reason for my concern: over the last several winters, Teton Springs has
allowed the temporary operation of commercial hell-skiing from within the subdivision. This
year, the hell-skiing company is seeking a permit to make the operation permanent. The
flights that occur fly over residential homes and the many ponds and streams within the
development. (Located in the vicinity of the flight path are the headwaters of the Teton
River). A refueling truck is also left onsight. I have sent an email to Teton Springs Golf
and Casting asking them for their storm water management plans, but its been several weeks
and no response. So, I'm seeking your assistance to ensure the water quality for Teton
Springs will not be contaminated & thus degraded by accumulating mercury from the combustion
of the helicopter's let fuel. In my opinion, this may not only affect the health of Teton
Springs residents, but also the health & environment of the entire Teton Valley. (Side
notation: Teton Springs contains some fly fishing ponds. From what I have heard at HOA
meetings, they have experienced some difficulties in maintaining their fish population).

What are the risks to the utilities' water quality given the application of a commercial
helicopter operation in Teton Springs?. The heliport proposal includes storage of jet fuel
above ground in an unsecured tank truck without a containment structure. Does the EPA need to
review the potential environmental impact for this 750 acre development?
