RE:REQUEST FOR CANCELLATION OF CERTIFICATE BY UNIVERSAL
ACCESS, INc. CASE NO. GNR- T -00-
On October 31 , 2006, Universal Access, Inc. filed a request for the immediate cancellation
of its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to offer basic local exchange service and the
withdrawal of all tariffs currently on file with the Commission. The Company indicated it did not
currently have any customers in Idaho and had ceased its telecommunications operations in the
state.
The Commission granted Universal Access, Inc. Certificate No. 380 on September 18 2000
in accordance with Commission Order No. 28443.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the cancellation of the Certificate as requested.
