TETON SPRINGS WATER AND SEWER COMPANY FILES IPUC
RATE CASE
June 11,2008 -- Teton Springs Water and Sewer Company has fied an Application at
the Idaho Public Utilities Commission to become a regulated public utility and to
establish initial rates for water service.
The Company provides water and sewer service to approximately 600 residential and
commercial lots within the Teton Springs Resort, located near Victor, Idaho.
The Application requests that the IPUC approve rules and regulations and rates for
providing water service. The IPUC does not regulate rates for sewer service.
Jon Pinardi, Director of Teton Water and Sewer said, "We are requesting that the IPUC
establish rates so that revenues generated are suffcient to provide a high level of servce, meet all
of the curent and futue regulatory requirements and provide for long-term capital reserves and a
moderate retu."
The request for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity, and the request to
establish rates and charges for water service and are proposals subject to public review and a
Commission decision, which may accept, modify or reject in whole or in part, the proposed
rates.
A copy of the Application is on file and available for inspection at the Idaho Public Utilities
Commission, 472 W. Washington Street, Boise, Idaho, and the Company's offices. The
Application is also available on-line at the Commission's website:
