Brentwood Park LLC, owned by H. James Magnuson, is seeking commission approval to sell the Troy Hoffman Water Corporation to Dalton Square LLC of Coeur d’Alene. The water company, which serves about 144 customers in Coeur d’Alene, would retain the same name. The purchase price of $65,000 cannot be included in customer rates. Dalton Square, owned by Ron Stadley and Ken Murren, was formed in 2006 and owns industrial buildings for rent in Coeur d’Alene as well as apartments in Plummer. Stadley has been the water master for the Troy Hoffman Water Corporation since 1995 and, according to the application, is qualified to operate a pressurized potable water system. The commission plans to handle this request in a modified procedure that uses written comments rather than conducting a hearing. The commission is taking comments through Jan. 15. Comments are accepted via e-mail by accessing the commission’s homepage at http://www.puc.idaho.gov/www.puc.idaho.gov and clicking on "Comments & Questions." Fill in the case number (TRH-W-09-01) and enter your comments. Comments can also be mailed to P.O. Box 83720, Boise, ID 83720-0074 or faxed to (208) 334-3762. A full text of the commission’s order, along with other documents related to this case, is available on the commission’s Web site at http://www.puc.idaho.gov/www.puc.idaho.gov.
