It is very apparent that the residents of the Stoneridge run the water Co. They were
informed of several letters of information that were not sent to the residents of Happy
Valley. That was admitted buy a Stoneridge resident at the meeting. The residents were not
sent letters that the meeting was being held. It was a resident of Happy Valley that
brought the notice to the residents. This shows that Stoneridge did not want us there,
because they did not want any opposition to there plans.
As far as Happy Valley paying for a new well that was damaged prior to our agreement, it
seems that the so called Stoneridge Water Co. wants Happy Valley residents to pay for
that. How about the pipes, meters, storage tanks & two wells that were apparently given
to Stoneridge Water. That should be figured into the value of the new well. Happy Valley
should be given credit for that capital investment. Stoneridge residents seem to want it
one way.
Now for my complaints
I have no water pressure at all. I had to purchase a shallow well pump & storage unit. If
I want a lawn I will need to put in a 1200 gal. storage tank & pump. One of the reasons
Happy Valley agreed to Stoneridge Water to provide water was because the promised better
water. The minerals in the water have not changed, plus the water is now dirty. We have
worse water then we had. Just that , in my opinion, that nullifies the agreement.
I believe this entire contract with Stoneridge Water should be renegotiated. The entire
cost should be born by all the members of the water Co. Stoneridge Water Co. has lied to
the residents of Happy Valley every step of the way.
