My husband, Jack Cannon (John) attended the StoneRidge meeting held
in Blanchard, Id last week and brought this form home to fill out regarding
our ideas on Happy Valley Water merging with Stone Ridge.
We would very much like to see this happen.
Our water quality is so poor with Happy Valley.
In the past, we had bad water from Nov. 2001 until Easter of 2002.
Our clothes take on a dingy color in the wash.
We have had dirt in the lines for weeks on end, over and over. Every time
they have to work on the system.
Some of our past officers have been abusive and dictatorial, (I'm not sure
that's a word, but it fits).
Many people have complained of health problems that they attribute to
our water, although nothing has been documented.
We know that aquifer water has a much better quality and would appreciate
having professionals in charge of our water system.
In the past we have had much better turnouts at our meetings but people
including myself, have become head shy at exposing themselves to the
shouting and verbal abuse that 'has gone on at some of the meeting by past
officers.
I am sure that is why so few attended this very important meeting.
I could not handle the stress at this time so chose to stay away.
We may be a small community, but we are in dire need of
professionalism in those we do business with.
Thank you for listening to my arguments.
And forgive me for sounding so negative.
Our experience with our water company since we moved here five years
ago has not been pleasant from the start.
