It is likely that if we had Stoneridge reject all bids the re-bid would only result in higher costs. We would appreciate your advice on how best to approach this with the Commission. The bid docun1ents were originally n1ailed to the prospective bidders on April 30, 2004 and a prebid n1eeting was held on I\1ay 6 , 2004. Four contractors submitted bids on the work. The lowest respon~iye responsible bidder for both schedules was David BellOlny Excavation and Pipeline Specialists. Enclosed is a copy of Stoneridge Utilities tentative award to BellOlny. A copy of the certified tabulation received isenclosed. A copy of Bellomy s bid is enclosed. There were no addenda issued.
