BACKGROUNI)
On September 30, 2020, SUEZ Water tdaho Inc. ("Company") applied to increase its
rates and charges for water service in Idaho. The Company proposed to increase its rates by
$10,160,21l-an average of 22.3%. The Company proposed to apply the rate inuease
uniformly to all customer classes, including miscellaneous service charges and fees. The
Company also requested an October 31,2020 effective date.
On March 17,2021, a Stipulation and Settlement ("Settlement") and a motion for
Commission approval of the proposed Settlement were filed with the Commission. See IDAPA
31.01.01 .056, .272, .274. Under the proposed Settlement, the Company would be allowed to
implement revised tariff schedules designed to recover an additional $3.996 million, representing
an8.75Yo increase in revenue.
On April 30,2021, the Commission issued Final Order No. 35030 ("Final Order")
approving the Settlement and reserving $40,000 in intervenor funding, to be included in rates for
the period of May 1,2021through April 30, 2022.
On May 3,2021 the Company submitted its Proposed Tariff ("Proposed Tariff ') with a
proposed effective date of May 1,2021.

STAFF'S AI\ALYSIS
Staff reviewed the Proposed Tariff and found it to be in conformance with the Settlement
and with Commission Order No. 35030. Under the Proposed Tariff, $40,000 in Commission
reservation for authorizing intervenor funding will be collected through Schedule No. l, General
Metered Service during the period May 1, 2021 through April 30,2022.
STAFF'S RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission approve the Proposed Tariffsubmitted by the
Company on May 3,2021with an effective date of May 1,2021.
