My comment may be reviewed by the utility. Ask a question or state your complaint: I am a land owner. I have owned my property for over 15 years and have paid excessive taxes on the property. It has been designated a buildable lot for the past 8 years. I finally have the time and money to build on this lot. I went to bring the utilities to the property and the cost is ridiculous, especially with the additional taxes that you are attaching to the costs. This 21.56% This 21.56% fee is unreasonable for a private owner who is already getting over taxed by paying full assessed property taxes. Most new developments in Ada county and Idaho are builders raping beautiful useful farmland and foothills that are assessed at a low tax value. They are paying very little taxes and the property does not get these with very little taxes and the property does not get readjusted on Tax assessment until the improved property is sold. This is also unfair to someone like myself- who is paying full taxes with no deductions over many years. At least give R-1 rated lots that have had this designation for over 3 years and have paid full taxes to be exempt of this over taxation. It makes my project to get water to my lot unreasonable! Make it fair!
