The City of Eagle didn't not take notice of our desire to NOT proceed the sale of Eagle Water to Suez. It is obvious how unpopular Suez water is--with a quick study, I saw 92 people gave Google reviews of Suez a 1.5 rating--that's amazing! It's so rare to see such a low rating. Please give us a chance as citizens to have a voice in this process. Selling our local water to an unpopular, remote, disinterested in local issues, international company means we have less say in a very precious commodity, especially in the West, in an area that is experiencing high growth, drought, and uncertainty. I'm confident that the citizens of Eagle and Idaho are capable of managing the challenges of maintaining our water supply here. You can make this right--keep our water local!" ------ From:PUC Consumer Comments To:Jan Noriyuki Subject:Notice: A comment was submitted to PUCWeb Date:Tuesday, July 20, 2021 10:00:16 AM The following comment was submitted via PUCWeb: Name: Theresa Noyce Submission Time: Jul 20 2021 9:40AMEmail: t.caton27@gmail.com Telephone: 425-446-1794Address: 472 W. Aren't bonds and levies the normal process for upgrading city infrastructure? The City of Eagle and Suez bypassed this process of voter input. We are concerned that the evaluation of the need and cost to upgrade EWC was performed by Suez and not an independent contractor. Also, acquisition of EWC by Suez resembles a monopoly of the Treasure Valley Water resources. Eagle residents deserve the chance to decide who controls this most precious resource. Sincerely, Theresa and Kevin Noyce " ------
