Comment: "I would like to ask you to DENY the sale of Eagle Water to Suez. The intent of Suez is to
ship our water to other areas (ie Avimor community). Like much of Idaho, Eagle is growing at an
unprecedented pace. As a 33 year resident of the city, I feel that we need to take care of our city
residents & not be sending water to other unincorporated areas and then find out we don’t have
enough water in Eagle or our water pressure is dramatically affected. HB 389 is making it more
difficult for cities to provide services to existing citizens. Please take a pause in this frenzied growth
environment to study Suez’s plans for rate increases and shipping of water to other areas. This is the
time for due diligence to evaluate the impact this sale will have on current users financially & in the
delivery of quality water service. Thank you."
