It says it has good customer service and timely responses, etc. All garbage. I'm an appriaser who who has talked to between 50-100 homeowners ( mostly United ) that have been stuck with suez and not one, NOT ONE, has any thing good to say about suez. They lied to United Water users when they took it over years age. There customer service is non existent, you can't get ahold of representatives if you have a problem. They will treat customers like a necessary evil if the PUC allow's them to get a foot in the door. Take pity on Eagle Water users and don't let the fox in the hen house. Somebody has to take a stand against these conglomerates." ------ Name: Patricia Demaree Submission Time: Jun 23 2021 2:47PMEmail: pjdee11@msn.com Telephone: 208-938-1156Address: 1903 E Poppy Hills St Eagle, ID 83616 Name of Utility Company: Eagle Water Company Case ID: EAG-W-18-01 Comment: "Eagle Water Company’s water is the best around. It’s healthy, clean, and tastes great. Our neighbors in Boise have posted pictures on Nextdoor of odious colored, foul smelling muck that Suez has a history of providing. Selling Eagle Water Company to Suez could potentially jeopardize our health. The increase costs that Suez will enact will have negative impacts on our community. If approved, homeowner rates will increase by over 230% within 4 years, and that’s only the beginning isn’t it? Our business community will suffer even higher increases, and be forced to pass on increased costs of doing business to us, their customers. Nowhere does Suez state that the 2025 rates will satisfy their greed. Suez has agreed to pay Eagle Water Company many times over what it’s actual worth. Why should the residents of Eagle be forced to pick-up this tab? Eagle Water Company should not be sold to a foreign entity of ill repute that has no vested interest in the welfare of our community or our country. Approval of this purchase furthers the enrichment of a corporation to the degradation of our community. Recently a company bought out another and drastically raised the price of a critical drug. The only change was the company name. But the tripling of the price was justified by the need to pay back the new owners investment. The consumer got nothing out of this and had no choice but to continue buying, just like the water users in Eagle. Let the City buy the company." ------
