Comment: "The residents north of Eagle maintain our own water rights.
New developments in Eagle added 10,000 people at a time. The
confluence of Jim Tibbs and a recession put fully approved, unsustainable
rapid growth in our midst; those corrupt administrations were soundly
defeated. Inexperienced new representatives and a bully multinational
company, Suez, are forcing further unsustainable and lucrative sale of the
Eagle water rights. The sale has never been explained. It is criminal. The
groundwater rights of residents will fail when Suez banks high volumes of
water and extinguishes the ground water source. Suez will destroy us with
water utility bills for acreage. Those bills will instantly convert our entire
established community into more “inevitable in-fill” and or desert. We
paid for land and water here. Approving Suez is complicity in bulldozing a
sustainable and attractive community in favor of short term exploitation
and long term blight. It could also spur lawsuit in the near term"
