Comment:As a residential customer of Eagle Water,I ask you not to approve the current proposal of the sell of Eagle
Water to Suez Water. As others have commented,we are happy with our water quality and pricing.I am not convinced
that the improvements that Suez Water states are necessary to the infrastructure is worth the more than 300%increase
that is proposed to my bill.It looks like they plan to recover all the costs of expanding their business in a 3 year period
and to make profit along the way.I am not against paying more to update our water system, but feel this increase
should at the least be more gradual, and not include the recovery of purchase price in such a short time. Also as a
retired person on a fixed income, one enticement to moving to Eagle a year ago was the water utility bills. It was
refreshing to deal with a small water company with personal service.I think we will be paying for more technology,
more salaries and less service.

Comment:One of the benefits that added to us moving to Eagle 2 years ago was the low water bills.Coming from South
Boise and water bills up to $200 in the summers from SUEZ,we were happy to get rid of SUEZ.So to hear we will now
have to deal with these crazy high water bills is enough for us to pick up and move again and we've recently listed out
home.Going from an average bill of $20 with Eagle Water to the astronomical bills of up to $200/mth is going to cause
a lot of people hardships, especially the elderly on a fixed budget. What will happen is brown grass, unkept yards, dying
plants, and unpaid water bills. This has to be stopped.

Re:Acquisition of Eagle Water Company
To Whom It May Concern:
My husband and I moved to the foothills of Eagle to get away from cell towers,to have quality
drinking water,to have responsible neighbors and open space around us.It took all of our savings to
make this happen and we are living on a tight budget. However, the health risks that I experienced
whle living in Boise far outweighed the fear and struggle of buying a home and all that it entailed.
We have been in our home for 6 months and quickly became aware of and attended a public hearing
on cell tower placement in Eagle not far from where we purchased our home. This was very
disturbing to say the least. Now,our water quality may be at risk.It seems that our right to health
and wellness is being jerked right out from under us daily with nowhere to turn.Unfortunately, greed
seems to be the order of the day.
As Rebecca and Greg Standerfer stated,"We urge you to consider our voice among the MANY
others Eagle residents you have heard from emploring you to block this acquisition.Asking people to
give up a good product at areasonable price in order to substitute a substandard product at a higherpricedoesnotmakesenseinanyway. The benefits listed on the Suez letter do not outweigh the
advantages of keeping Eagle Water Company a small enterprise.Another option has to be explored!PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW THIS ACQUISITIONTO TAKE PLACE."
We cannot afford to move or have our health furtherdamaged by those who are onlywilling to look at
profit and net gains without considering the welfare of our communityand the world at large.
Respectively,
Regina Altamirano
