Comment:After reading the testimony for each of the related parties in this case,I do not believe that this sale andpurchaseiscurrentlyinthebestinterestoftheEagleWaterCompany,Inc.customers.I also believe that Mr.Thompson's comment of,"The rate structure that SUEZ proposes is intended to reflectprojectedcostsrequiredtocorrectidentifiedeficienciesoverareasonabletimeperiod while minimizing rate-shock,"is misaligned.>200%rate increasesover 3 years is heavy rate-shock.I don't like the fact that SUEZ is asking to recoverthepurchasepricethroughrateincreases.That directly negatively impacts the Eagle Water Company,Inc.customerslikemyself,and is just a greedy position.Ms.Cooper also mentions that current SUEZ customers would benefitfinanciallyfromthisacquisition.So we pay excessivelymore than we have in the past and they pay less--Not so fair.Water is not a luxury--It's a basic necessity.The proposed SUEZ rate increases just don't justify the benefits that they aresayingEagleWaterCompany,Inc.customers will realize as part of this sale.(ex:I'll pay $2 for a bag of peanuts,but thebagisnotworthpaying$5.)And if the product you're purchasing needs immediate capital improvement,that's the costofdoingbusinessand/or perhaps you should pay a lower purchase price for Eagle Water Company,Inc.
In final,I believe that I and many other Eagle Residents who are customers of Eagle Water Company,Inc.would feelmuchmorecomfortableiftherewasanotherpotentialbuyerandoffertopurchase.Perhapsthe City of Eagle WatercouldpresentanalternativeoffertopurchaseEagleWaterCompany,Inc.This would ensure that the purchase andtreatmentofcurrentEagleWaterCompany,Inc.customers would be closer to being fair.

Complaint:In responseto request by Suez Water to buy out Eagle Water Company I have concerns that Ibelieveneedtobeaddressed.First is water quality-
I moved to Eagle from Boise and one of the reasons
was that the water in Eagle tastes good,is clear and does not smell of chlorine.I believe Suez Waterstronglyover-chlorinates the water,to the point it faded clothing washed.There were days when thewaterwouldmakemyeyeswaterwhiledoingdishesfromthechlorine.That cannot be healthy.My second concern is the projected cost increases.As retirees on a fixed income this price hike willgreatlyimpactmyhusbandandmyselflimitingtheamountofdiscretionaryspendingmoneywehave.IanticipatethispricehikewouldalsoaffectourHOAfeesasthecostsformaintainingoutcommonareasandfacilitieswouldincreaseconsiderably.I believe that having the City of Eagle assume control of EagleWaterCompanywouldmuchbetterservesthecitizensofEagle.

Comment:I would like to voice my opposition and concern about the sale of Eagle Water to Suez Water Company.Thiscompanydoesnothaveacomewithagoodreputationandtheincreasesoverthenextthreeyearsareofgreatconcern.As well as a home owner,I am also the president of our Homeowners Association which will be greatly impacted.Wehavecommonareasusedbysportsteamsandhomeownersandthisrepresentsa300%-400%increasefor us.We have zeroscaped some of our common ares expecting a change from Eagle Water,but this much of an increase isexcessiveandwillrepresenta40%increase in homeowner dues.
Please review this carefully and have public meetings.

We are strong opposed to Suez purchasing Eagle Water Company!!Eagle Water Company has done a great job servicing
its clients,keeping the rates in check and the water tastes great!!
We have lived in Eagle for 31 years and have enjoyed the quality,taste and low prices of Eagle Water.The home we live
in now was connected to a well which we removed in 2011and hooked up to Eagle City Water.If this purchasetakes
place we have no other option than to drill a well and disconnect from Suez.We are one of the lucky ones who have
this option.
Suez is well known by Boise residencesfor poor water quality and very high costs.As a Realtor,I let my clients know
that if they purchase a home in which the water source is Suez to expect very high prices for water.
Along with ALL of our Eagle neighbors we cannot afford the proposed rate increases of over 200%for residential and
over 300%for commercial.There has to be another option to save the people who live and work in Eagle!!
