SUBJECT:SUEZ WATER INC.'S APPLICATION TO TRUE-UP COSTS, RATES,
AND CHARGES RELATED TO CONNECTION AND TRANSFER OF
BRIAN WATER; CASE NO. SUZ-W-18-01.
On May l, 2078, Suez requested that the Commission approve of a trued-up rate, and
conforming tariffs for the costs associated with Suez connecting to, and taking over operation of,
Brian Subdivision Water Users' Association. The Company provided supporting testimony and
documentary evidence supporting its application. The Company requested that the application be
processed by modified procedure. No effective date was requested.
The Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of Intervention Deadline.
Order No. 34086. No intervenors appeared, and after conferring with the Company, Staff
recommended that the Commission process the case by modified procedure, and proposes the
following schedule:
Comment Deadline August 23,2018
Reply Deadline September 6,2018
The parties believe that modified procedure is the appropriate method of processing the case, and
that the proposed schedule will enable the Commission to fully review all relevant information.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission issue an Order that approves the use of
modified procedure and adopts the above schedule.
