Good afternoon Terri,
My neighbor and fellow board member reminded me of something I forgot about when I was preparing
my comments for the Commission.
Late in the process to resolve our water issues,we were informed by (then)United Water manager GregWyattthattheywouldtakeourwaterrightsforthetwowellsweowned.I was told we had no choice in
this matter-despite that fact that we had been told the value of our rights on the open market was in
the vicinity of $50,000.We had been assumingwe would sell those rights and use the proceeds to help
offset the cost of the connection to United Water/SUEZ.Those funds would have provided each of the
46 homeowners with over $1000 to cover part of their individual share of the connection fee.We
believe we should be credited for this value which were forced to relinquish in the process.
