On March 5,2013,Spirit Lake East Water Company (“Spirit Lake”or “Company”)
filed an Application requesting authority to increase its rates and charges for water service.The
Company did not propose an effective date for the proposed changes to its rates.Spirit Lake
requested that its Application be processed through Modified Procedure.
On April 10,2013,Spirit Lake filed a copy of its Customer Notice advising its
customers that it had filed an Application with the Commission seeking approval of a rate
increase of 106%for its residential customers.The Company noted that.if approved by the
Commission,the minimum fee for residential customers would increase from $12.50 per month
to $24.75 per month.
On April 10,2013,the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Modified
Procedure establishing a comment deadline of July 31,2013.See Order No.32783.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission Staff will conduct a public
workshop for Spirit Lake customers on TUESDAY,JUNE 25,2013,AT 7:00 P.M.AT THE
SPIRIT LAKE COMMUNITY CENTER,32564 N.FOURTH AVENUE,SPIRIT LAKE,
IDAHO.At this meeting customers will have an opportunity to hear from Commission Staff
regarding the Company’s Application in Case No.SPL-W-13-0l and ask questions of Staff and
representatives of the Company.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Application in Case No.SPL-W-13-0l
may be viewed on the Commission’s web site wv.puc.idaho.gov by clicking on ‘-File Room”
and then “Water Cases,”or it can be viewed during regular business hours at the Idaho Public
Utilities Commission,472 W.Washington Street.Boise,Idaho.
