Re: Increase of consumption rates
The SLE Water Co. has not provided adequate back up during power outages. The generator
they finally installed only pumps what is in the reservoir tank. We did not receive anywater during the last power outage. The generator needs to be big enough to pump water
from the source. The water lines are extremely old (original to the development) and will
soon need to be replaced. My understanding is the water company has no emergency fundestablished to take care of anything. What have they been doing with the money since
inception? No upgrades have been performed. Until the water company has established a
fund for emergencies the consumption rate should not be raised.
Re: Proposed Connection Fee
If $2500 is the actual cost (and I would hope the puc is verifying that) then that should
be the charge to new customers.
