I am writing in regards to the Spirit Lake East Water Company s request for a rate hike;Case No. SPL-W-06-1. I do not support this request.
Their reason for this request is to cover increased cost due to water system improvements.These improvements were completed because you demanded it; thank you. Over decades of useof this system they have demonstrated nothing but disinterest. I have lived in this
development for 13 years and have experienced many events of unhealthy water, low or no
water pressure. Some of these events were of long duration. Their track record managerial
expertise in the past and present is dismal and does not bode well for the future. I askyou not to reward them for improvements long due.
