Rasing the utility rate by 100% would be an unethical increase as the water system init's current state is NOT sufficent to provide adiquite service to ALL current and future
residents. During the summer months many Spirit Lake East residents do NOT have enoughwater pressure to take adiqui te showers or run a dishwasher etc... This is a result of the
system being taxed far more than it's capacity can provide. This community was originally
designed for TWO wells, the second has not been installed ? if the owner is so concerned
with the water system, I would ask him", why is it that you have known and allowed 1000' s
of gallons of water to leak out of a breather in our driveway for the last two months
why hasn t the MAIN holding tank CRACK been repaired ? NO! !! We will dispute this proposed
increase until the following issues are resolved or a deadline has been established in
writing for the NEEDED upgrades and repairs.
l)A second well installed to suffice capacity requirements
2) Crack repaired in main holding tank
3)All Valve leaks repaired

Comment description: I strongly urge you not to allow the Spirit Lake East Water Companyto double our rates as they requested. SLE Water Company has essentially stated they have
ignored the conditioin of the water system for over 23 years and now want to force the
customer to pay for thier negligence. I don t see any justification for a 100% increase
in rates just to cover up Hansen Industries and SLE Water s poor business practices.
