ORDER NO. 30241
On February 8, 2007, Spirit Lake East Water Company, Inc. filed a Motion for
Extension of Time, requesting an extension of the deadline for it to file written comments in this
case. The Commission by Order No. 30193 approved a procedural schedule that required Spirit
Lake to file written comments by February 9, 2007. In its Motion, the Company requests that the
deadline for its comments be extended to February 23 , 2007. The Company also indicated Staff
had no objection to the Motion, and that the Company had no objection to the Commission
extending the suspension of its proposed rates for an additional 30 days.
The Commission has determined that it is appropriate to grant Spirit Lake s Motion
for Extension of Time, and also to suspend the effective date of its proposed rates for an
additional 30 days to April 15, 2007.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Motion for Extension of Time filed by Spirit
Lake is granted. Spirit Lake s written comments are due by February 23, 2007.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the period of suspension for the Company
proposed water service rates is extended for 30 days until April 15, 2007.
