REQUESTING AUTHORITY TO INCREASE
ITS HOOK UP FEES FOR WATER SERVICE ORDER NO. 29493
CASE NO. SPL-O4-
On March 22, 2004, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of
Modified Procedure in this case. Order No. 29451. In that Order, the Commission directed the
Company to file any reply comments on or before May 7, 2004. Id. at 2. On May 6, 2004, Spirit
Lake East filed a timely request for extension of time to file written reply comments. The
Company states the reason for the extension of time is to allow for written confirmation of firm
contract prices for the installation of water services as described on page 5 of the Staff
Comments. Despite numerous requests, the Company states, it has not received the written
confirmation from the contractor. F or these reasons the Company requests an extension to file
its reply comments on or before May 21, 2004. Staff has no objection to the extension of the
written reply comment deadline.
Based on the foregoing the Commission grants Spirit Lake East Water Company
request.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Spirit Lake East Water Company s request for an
extension of time to file written reply comments is granted. The Company shall file its reply
comments on or before May 21 , 2004.
