RE: IN THE MATTER OF SUNBEAM WATER COMPANY’S FAILURE TO COMPLY
WITH IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMISSION REPORTING AND FISCAL
REQUIREMENTS; CASE NO. SNB-W-22-01.

This matter came before the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (“Commission”) on the
Commission Staff’s (“Staff”) request to order Sunbeam Water (“Sunbeam” or “Company”) to appear and
show cause why the Commission should not impose penalties for the Company’s continued, willful
violations of its requirements under state law and the Commission’s rules.
On February 16, 2023, the Commission Ordered Staff to audit Sunbeam Water Company’s
(“Company”) financials, visit the service area to inspect the premises and plant, and hold a public workshop.
Order No. 35680.
On April 25, 2023, Staff submitted requests to audit the financials, with responses due by May 16,
2023.
On May 8, 2023, Staff and Company agreed Staff would inspect the premises and plant on June
28, 2023, followed by a public workshop at 6:00 p.m. local time. The workshop location and venue will be
determined prior to Commission Order.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Public Workshop on June 28, 2023, at 6:00
p.m. local time.
