Joni and have owned a condominium at Schweitzer Mountain Resort since July 28,1992.In ad
dition,I have served as Board Member and Treasurer of our Wildflower at Schweitzer Condomin
ium Association for most of this time.Throughout these past 23 years we have utilized the water
services of Schweitzer Basin Water CCC for our association and appreciate this opportunity to
comment on the quality of these services.
We have always received excellent and timely service from Mel Bailey and SBWCLC.In a moun
taintop resort community,with the resultant conditions of winter weather,unattended resi
dences and potential for severe freezing of water mains as well as service lines to separate build
ings,timeliness of response to emergencies is paramount.Under severe (and often nighttime)
conditions,SBWLLC always responded quickly and efficiently.SBWLLC has maintained and im
proved its system and delivery of water to the point where emergencies rarely occur.Most often
these emergencies are a result of homeowner negligence,and Mr.Bailey has always provided a
response that is professional and thorough.In most cases,he has provided direct assistance to
improve and upgrade water line placement
Water quality and supply has always remained excellent.The required reports are always timely
and thorough.
As long-time customers,I must say that I have appreciated dealing with Mel Bailey and SBWLLC.
As a utility provider,his service quality must be ranked at the top of the list.

Dear Chris,
I am writing as a customer of Schweitzer Basin Water LLC (SBWLLC).I understand that the IPUC is
currently reviewing their application for Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity.The SBWLLC
provides service to one of our residential units here in the Schweitzer community.The SBWLLC has
been providing water service to many area residents for many years.The SBWLLC has been pro-active
in their approach to system maintenance,water quality and response to unplanned service interuptions.
They operate with a high level of integrity are engaged members of the Schweitzer community and
seem to have everyone’s best interest in mind when problems arise.
I would recommend approval of their continued operation here in the Schweitzer basin.
