The company has the capacity to eventually serve 255 households in up to three other planned subdivisions in the same area. According to the company’s application, the owner/manager is Jim Bernard of Rigby and the certified operator is Jeff Ireland. There will be no presentation from the commission at the hearing. Its only purpose is to hear from customers regarding the company’s application and commission staff recommendations, which were issued Sept. 12. Comments from the commission staff say a  monthly flat fee of $48 is required in order to meet the company’s annual revenue requirement. The commission, which operates separately from the commission staff, is free to accept, reject or modify the recommendations of the company and commission staff. A complete text of the company’s application, as well as commission staff comments and other documents related to this case, is available on the commission’s Web site at http://www.puc.idaho.govwww.puc.idaho.gov.
