First Question, does this water system have a back flow system installed for health reasons,
if not, why not? also the amount requested is high compared to Bitter Root Water Co. fixed
monthly rate(case #Bit W 05 1) that was approved in 2006 from $20. to $21. per month by this
Commission. Seeing how the Bitter Root Water Company has to maintain water meters and reading
of such, how is the cost high~r for Rocky Mountain Water Co. than it is for Bitter Root.
Rocky Mountain Water Co. is asking for a 33% increase over the Bitter Root fixed rate, and
Rocky Mountain Water is just getting started. Inflation is only 4% by federal gov. estimates,
not 33%, $21. is fine, since Rocky Mountain charges us their customers, $40. a month for
sewer. That is extremely high with no regulation, with no control on what RM can charge us.
Some of us in this subdivision are on fixed income and this rates are high compared to other
areas I have checked into.
