On May 13, 2008, Rocky Mountain Utilty Companyl filed an Application for a
Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity seeking authority to provide water service as a
public utility near Rigby, Idaho. The Application states that the water system is currently
providing water to 38 residential customers.
On June 20, 2008, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and set a deadline
for intervention. Order No. 30576. No persons petitioned to intervene. A Notice of Public
Workshop and Notice of Modified Procedure was issued on July 29, 2008. Order No. 30601.
Several customers attended the workshop that was held on August 13,2008, at the Rigby Senior
Citizens Center.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
YOU AR HEREBY NOTIFIED that a public hearing has been scheduled for
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2008, AT 7:00 P.M. AT THE JEFFERSON COUNTY
COURTHOUSE, 210 COURTHOUSE WAY, RIGBY, IDAHO. The purose of the public
hearng will be for the Commission to take the direct testimony of customers and interested
members of the public. Testimony will be recorded and made par of the Commission's formal
record for decision in this matter. The Company's customers and any other interested members
of the public are encouraged to attend and give testimony.
YOU AR FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings in this matter will be held in
facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilties Act (ADA).
Persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other assistace in order to paricipate
in or to understad testimony and argument at a public hearng may ask the Commission to
provide a sign language interpreter or other assistace at the hearing. The request for assistace

Rigby, Idaho, and is in noway associated with Rocky Mountain Power.

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Application, supporting workpapers, and
exhibits have been fied with the Commission and are available for public inspection during
regular business hours at the Commission offces. The Application and workpapers are also
available on the Commission's Website at www.puc.idaho.gov under "File Room" and then
"Water Cases."
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission has jurisdiction over this
matter pursuant to Title 61 of the Idaho Code and specifically Idaho Code §§ 61-124, 61-125,
61-129,61-526,61-528 and 61-623. The Commission may enter any final Order consistent with
its authority under Title 61.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this matter wil be
conducted pursuant to the Commission's Rules of Procedure, IDAP A 3 i.o i.o i .000 et seq.
