SUBJECT: RICI(EL WATER COMPAI\IY, INC., AND BITERROOT WATER
SYSTEM,INC.; CASE NO. RIC-W-17-01
On July 28,2017, Rickel Water and Bitterroot Water jointly applied to the Commission
to consolidate the two companies into one. The Company states ttrat the two Companies are
interconnected, share common ownership, and operate under the same rate structure.
The Commission issued notice of the application and set an intervention deadline of
Septernber 5, 2017. No intervenors app€ared. Statr has rcviewed the Companies' application,
requested information from the owner of the companies, and pursuant to Commission dircction,
convened with the Companies, and is now ready to proceed.
STATF RECOMMENDATION
Slaff has concluded that processing this case by Modified Procedure is appropriate and
requests that the Commission order the same. Staff ftrrther recommends setting a comrnent
deadline of February 8,2018, and a reply deadline of February 22,2018.
