Dear Commissioners,
We would like to formally request approval from the Idatro Public Utilities Commissionto
consolidate the following water companies into one entity for rate making purposes as Rickel
Water Company [nc.:
Rickel Water Company Inc - CPCN Number 324
Bitterroot Water System Inc - CPCN Number 319
Physically the 2 companies are interconnected, as the IPUC Staffhas observed to be the case
during previous site visits. There would be no physical change needed to the curent water
system due to the consolidation.
The Members of both Corporations are the same - Ken and Cathy Rickel. This consolidation
would allow Rickel Water Company to reduce currently duplicated costs in the areas of tax
preparation, licensing, taxes, PO Box rental and insurance.
The consolidated company would continue to operate under the current rate structure and rules in
place for Rickel Water Company using the current CPCN Number of 324. There would be no
change in the address ofthe Company.
