CHARGES FOR THE PICABO WATER
SYSTEM.

WORKSHOP
CASE NO. PIC-04-
On March 25, 2004, Picabo Livestock Company, Inc. filed an Application for a rate
mcrease for the Picabo Water System. Picabo provides water at an un-metered flat rate.
Residential rates for Picabo are $14/month year-round plus an additional $12/month for
sprinkling (April I-September 30) for an annual charge per residential customer of $240.
Commercial rates are $24/month year-round plus an additional $211month for sprinkling
(April I-September 30), for an annual charge per commercial customer of $456. Because of
additional capital investment and increased expenses for power, maintenance, materials and
water testing, the Company requests an $8 per month increase in its published water rates. This
increase would equate to an annual water charge for residential customers of $336 and for
commercial customers of $552.
On April 9, 2004, the Commission issued Notices of Application and Modified
Procedure in Case No. PIC-04-The deadline for filing written comments is Friday,
May 28 , 2004.
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Commission Staff will hold public
workshop for Picabo customers on Thursday, May 20, 2004 at 6:30 p.m. at the Silver Creek
Convenience Store on Highway 20 in Picabo, Idaho. At this meeting customers will have an
opportunity to hear from Commission Staff regarding the Company s Application in Case
No. PIC-04-1 and to ask questions of Staff and Company representatives.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Application in Case No. PIC-04-1 may
be viewed on the Commission s website www.puc.state.id., by clicking on "File Room" and
Water Cases " or can be viewed during regular business hours at the Idaho Public Utilities
Commission, 472 West Washington Street, Boise, Idaho and at the principal office of Picabo
Livestock Co, Inc.
