The proposed water rate from my experience is too high. We used to live at the other end of
Kuna Mora road (2ee4 to 2ee6) and paid a flat $35 monthly for water. The hook up fee was
$5eø. The water was used for domestic and irrigation purposes. All properties in that
subdivision are 1 acre (Forrey Hights Subdivision Water Association). I realize that water
associations and utility companies are set up differently and thus the fees will be
different; however, the difference is too large. I feel that a rate of $4e is more
appropriate as opposed to the proposed $81.67. The rate for gallons used above the ini tal is
ok. I think that is fair in as much as some live on .5 acre and other on a full acre. That
will even out the charges as those on larger lots will obviously use more water for their
yards. Thank you for your attention.
