We received the statement from Idaho Springs regarding their application. In the
statement it indicates that the company is requesting the ability to charge a $2500 first
time connection fee. When I purchased the lot in August 2007, the purchase agreement we
signed indicates that sewer and water hookup fees were included in the lot purchase price
and would not be an additional assesment from the water company in the case of water
access. I was also told at that time the all applications had been filed for, which was
not the case. The intents of this request should call into question the legal
implications the application will create. Are there options we as customers/future
customers of this water company have to dispute the components of the application as it
stands?

Regarding Case No. ISW-W-08-01 (Idaho Springs Water Company),
Idaho Springs Water Company is merely a new name for the same
bunch of criminals who have been operating as Arbor Ridge Water
Company. Even the address is the same!
These criminals, through the owner of. Arrowrock Ranch Subdivision,
Greg Johnson, lied to all of us in that the $1200/ year homeowners
association dues included sewer and water charges. To our despair,
they soon began charging us an additional $200/month for sewer and
water. These charges are exorbitant and the highest in all of Ada
County. In addition, there have been continuous water quality
problems with the service they provide.
Therefore; I protest their exorbitant proposed rates and charges for
water service. You wil note my Pennsylvania telephone number. The
illegal. charges these criminals levied on us have driven me away
from Idaho and made it impossible to sell my home.
