We have owned our property in Rigby for about 2 years and have always had a substandard water supply.Talking with the neighbors,we have discovered there has always been ongoing issues with the water:lack of pressure, questions about water purity (unanswered),availability (water is turned off without notice),generator issues, and rates. This has been ongoing FOR YEARS!There is not much hope that this will ever be resolved! Mr.Gneiting does not appear to care much about the subdivision he developed.A lot of the properties are run down and overgrown with weeds.Dogs wander with abandon...but I digress! My point in bringing up the haphazard way he manages this subdivision is to point out how unprofessional and unconscientious he is which is why this water fiasco is so frustrating. In addition to the rate increase which puts money in Mr.Gneiting’s pocket;some homeowners are losing. Some have found they can’t refinance their homes as banks won’t deal with them if there is an unsettled utilities issue with their property.Logically, that means we are unable to sell our home because any realtor, with ethics, would not want to represent us nor would an interested buyer be able to obtain financing. What we see as the only viable solution is to be given the option of drilling our own private well. While it might not be economically feasible for some of the people here;those who can should be allowed. Thank you for your time.We look forward to hearing back from you. Sincerely,Tony and Michelle Newton Unique Identifier:75.174.44.249 1
