On May 2,2016,Morning View Water Company (“Morning View”or “Company”)
filed an Application with the Commission “to increase its water rates.”Application at 1.On
May 16,2016,Morning View amended its Application,thereby modifying the amount it
proposed to increase its rates and charges for water service.
On June 2,2016,the Commission issued a Notice of Application,Notice of Modified
Procedure and Notice of Schedule whereby the Commission suspended the Company’s proposed
effective date,pursuant to Idaho Code §61-622,for a period of thirty (30)days and five (5)
months or until such time as the Commission enters an Order accepting,rejecting or modifying
the proposed rate increases in this matter.The Commission also established a deadline of
August 19,2016,for the public to submit written comments regarding Morning View’s
Application.See Order No.33531.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORKSHOP
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Commission Staff will conduct a public
workshop for Morning View customers on TUESDAY,JULY 12,2016,AT 7:00 P.M.IN
COURTROOM #3 OF THE JEFFERSON COUNTY COURTHOUSE.210
COURTHOUSE WAY #120.RIGBY,IDAHO.The purpose of the workshop is to provide
customers with an overview of the Application and to dispense information,as well as to receive
input from the public prior to the comment deadline.At this workshop,customers will have an
opportunity to ask Staff questions about the Application and how customers may further
participate in the proceeding.
