Box 83720 Boise,ID 83720-0074 REFERENCE: CASE NO: MN - W -09-1 To Whom it May Concern: It has come to our attention tht Nolan Gneitig, owner of the Morng View Water Company, has petitioned the Idao Public Utilities Commssion (lUC) for an imediate 25% rate increa. As home owners, who live in the Morng View Acres subdivisions, we respetfly request a public meeting be held before any incras is considere or grted by your organzation. The last rate increae of 24.6%, which was approved by the IPUC in Augt of 2007, cites many of the same $ystem/company deficiencies tht stil exist today, i.e., failure to fie required report, poor or nonexistent record keeping, and misuse of water company contingency fuds. In addition, the IPUC requested that Morng View Water Company submit a plan for meter instalation and acquie additional water rights beyond the 48 authorized hook-ups allowed by water right No. 25-7593 (priority date 10-10-1995). The water system in question is not curntly in compliance with Idao Deparent of Environmenta Quaity reguations, e.g., low pressure, failure to file requied reports on time, etc. These deficiencies must be satisfactorily addressed or the owner will face pending legal action in Seventh Distrct Cour. We sincerely believe that the above stated reasns wart a complete hearg of our concern before any fuer actions, which could impact our water rates, are taen.
