Our $ 3000.00 sprinkler system we installed years ago does not operate efficiently BECAUSE OF THE LOW PRESSURE (sprinkler heads notpopping up) and sometimes we have to use regular sprinklers to cover the bare spots which, unfortunately, amounts to use of more water. The other day I used an oscillating sprinkler which is supposed to cover 3250sqft, itdidnt even cover 1000sqft, again, DUE TO LOW PRESSURE. I know that watering lawns is probably not a high priority, and this is just one example. d be happy if we could use the shower without being afraid to flush the toilet or run the kitchen sink at the same time. After all, we are paying almost $ 500.00/year (more then anybody else I know in this area, be it city or private utilities)and we shouldreceive decent service in return. Again, we don t think metering would solve our ongoing pressure problem, but the installation of better equipment (a pump with more pumping power ??) would. After all, the customer base since 2002 increased from 56 to 97-100. On another note, on page 6 of your comments you mentioned that MVW started collecting the $5.00 surcharge in January 2003. This is incorrect, it started in September of 2002, proof of past invoices and payments can be provided if necessary. This amounts to another 4 additional months of payments into this account. Furthermore, in the 2002-case, the company was ORDERED to file annual reports for the surcharge account and be subject to reauthorization if it didn t do so , and it was OREDERED to install the back-up pump, how come the PUC never followed up on these things Thank you for your attention in this matter Heike & Ed Vitacolonna The form submited on http://www.puc.idaho.gov/forms/ipucl/ipuc.html IP address is 207.200.116.203 - - -- - - - --- - - - -- - - -- ----- - ---- - - - - ---
