CASE NO. MNV-06-
On December 8, 2006, Morning View Water Company, Inc. filed a one-page rate
case request seeking authority to increase its rates approximately 40%. The Company issued a
notice to its customers with its March bills notifying them that it is seeking a 35% increase. If
approved, a 35% increase would result in an increase in the monthly bills of customers with
acre of$7., customers with Y2 acre of $10., and customers of 1 acre of$12.50.
To meet continued operations needs, the Company requests a revenue requirement
increase of approximately 35%. The Commission approved a rate increase for the Company in
2002, and implemented a surcharge of $5.00 per month to fund a contingency reserve account
(with the total amount in the reserve account capped at $10 000). Order No. 29104.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORKSHOP
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission Staff will hold a public
workshop for Morning View customers. The purpose for the public workshop is to provide
customers with an overview of the Company s rate case Application and dispense information.
At the workshop, customers will have an opportunity to ask questions of the Staff regarding the
Company s rate case. Representatives of Morning View may also be available. The Staff will
hold its public workshop on THURSDAY. APRIL 12. 2007 AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE
BASEMENT MEETING ROOM OF THE RIGBY PUBLIC LIBRARY. 110 N. STATE

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Application and a notice to customers
have been filed with the Commission and are available for public inspection during regular
business hours at the Commission offices. The Application and supporting documents are also
available on the Commission s Website at www.puc.idaho.gov under "File Room" and then
Water Cases.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORKSHOP
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all workshops and hearings in this matter
will be held in facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA). Persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other
assistance in order to participate in or to understand testimony and argument at a workshop or
hearing may ask the Commission to provide a sign language interpreter or other assistance. The
request for assistance must be received at least five (5) working days before the workshop or
hearing by contacting the Commission Secretary at:
