Box 83720 Boise, Idaho 83720-0074 r-/lAlI! - w -0 b ~O ( Dear Mr. Graves Below is the letter sent to all customers with their September billing. I am also sending a copy to the Department of Environmental Quality. March 2006 you received a letter informing you that we had applied with Idaho Public Utilities for a 35% increase. All of the steps and procedures that are required to have the commission approve an increase have been met. On August 30, 2007 the Commission met and approved a revised rate increase of24.59%. All ofthis information is available on the Public Utilities Web Site. www.puc.idaho.gov . This bill reflects the rate increase agreed to by the Public Utilities. They have also continued the $5.00 surcharge for the contingency fund. In the past month we have had many expenditures that we had hoped to spread over a longer period of time. Because of the nature of the problem with the water pressure, the expediency required by the DEQ, and the delay in the rate increase, we have had to borrow money to pay our regular monthly bills (electricity for the well, telephone service paper and postage for billing, etc.), as well delay payment for work done on the well. The accounts that are past due thirty (30) days or more amount to over $1600.00. Customers are allowed use of water for one month, and then are billed for the use of that water. We can no longer allow accounts to become sixty days (60) days past due. Bills are sent the last week of the month, and are due on the first day of the following month. Customers that do not bring their accounts up to date will be receiving a shut off notice. If you can not bring your account up to date, you must contact our office and make arraignments to do so. Our creditors have been very patient with us, but if payments are not brought up to date service to all of our customers will be interrupted. Sincerely, . - - 04 A:?e:LY ~olan Gneiting Operator MORNING VIEW CO-IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES
