Morning View Water Company, Inc. has rued an application with the Idaho Public
Utilities Commission requesting a rate increase ofthirty-five percent. A thirty-five
percent increase would add the following amounts to your bill; YJ Acre $7.70 per
month, Yz Acre $10.10 per month, and 1 Acre $12.50 per month.
A rate increase is necessary to pay the increased cost of power, taxes, salaries,
repairs, maintenance, general opera1;ion costs, and to recover the depleted
contingency. fund.
An increase in revenue is necessary for Morning View Water Co.. Inc. may continue
service without interruption.
Morning View Water Company last filed a rate case in September 2002. The
Commission granted a much smaller increase than was requested.
